I am not a gourmet chef, if I had to rate my cooking, I would say on a scale of one to ten I am a seven. This is my Mom's meatloaf recipe. She has made it for years and so have I. Now my Mom is an excellent chef she would get a ten rating, she's Italian. She makes everything from scratch, homemade sauce, pasta, bread, pizza, pie crusts, cakes, and cookies. My sister and brother got her cooking skills, I was the one who wanted the plates and table to look pretty. Ok back to the meatloaf. I guarantee people will ask you for the recipe. I have people who request my meatloaf.


2 Pounds of Ground Beef (Please read my post titled Meatloaf)
1 Package of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
3/4 Cups of Bread Crumbs (Plain)
2 Eggs
3/4 Cups Milk (Whole Milk)
1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar (Secret ingredient)
1/3 Cup Ketchup


(Please read my post titled Meatloaf)

Brown Sugar

Mix all ingredients.

Form in a Baking Dish. Sometimes I Form A Heart.

Optional: I also put brown sugar on top of the meatloaf.

Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

Let sit for about five to ten minutes.
