I got the idea of "Magic Hair" from my Pre-Schoolers. I wear wigs and a lot of wigs, long, short, curly, and many different colors. I can relate to Joseph and the coat of many colors but I do it with my hair.
One day I went to school with white hair ( my "natural" color is gray but being short on the amount of hair I have I wear wigs.) The children asked what happened to my hair and I did not know what to say (as children ask questions that I sometimes don't know how to answer). I replied "Yesterday I got caught in the rain without an umbrella and it washed all of the colors out of my hair". A lightbulb went off and I continued "Ms. RoseMary has Magic Hair". That was the start and they believed I had Magic Hair. The questions came "What color are you going to paint tomorrow?" and "Can you paint it rainbow?"
I always say "Find The Good In Everything" and for this, I found a positive thing to say to people who want or need to wear wigs. Call it "Magic Hair" I guarantee when you change the word "Wig" to "Magic Hair" it is sure to put a smile on your face and give you confidence in wearing the "Magic Hair".
