When she dressed up, she added high heels, fancy hats, crystal costume jewelry, and gloves — and she always reminded me: ‘RoseMary, you always have your hair done, lipstick, and jewelry.’

"She also believed every visit was a special occasion. Donuts and sandwiches were served on her finest  china, juice poured into wine glasses, and milk or hot chocolate sipped from delicate teacups. To her, elegance wasn’t reserved for holidays — it was part of everyday life. I started playing dress‑up at two years old, and I’ve never stopped. My motto? I can’t go out without makeup — otherwise I’d be arrested for indecent exposure!"
